Hey there!

We're almost ready to release Funkwhale 0.20 and we've pushed the first release candidate, 0.20.0-rc1. If you want to help polishing this release, you can upgrade your pod to use this release and report any bug you encounter.

You can learn more at governance.funkwhale.audio/d/2 and access the full changelog at dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/

If everything goes well, we're planning for a final release during the first week of October 🎉

Thank you for your help!

Du coup Audinaut est un client SubSonic (à jour) et fonctionne avec @funkwhale 😉

@funkwhale Non-docker upgraded without issue here! So far so good, just a few cosmetic issues like header text color not changing with theme - theme switcher is cooool 😎

@funkwhale
Hi, I just updated my instance (without docker) and even though I have little experience with Funkwhale, everything worked perfectly fine (including the two scripts for the existing data).
Thanks for the great work!

Whait kind of plugins would you like to see in Funkwhale? I'm looking for ideas to prototype/design the plugin system.

Right now, I have a working Audioscrobbler (for Last.fm / ListenBrainz / Libre.fm), but I was thinking maybe a bot for Mastodon.

I'm looking for a few use cases I can use to experiment on what I've built :)

Any ideas?

Hello !

New translations strings for the 0.20 release have been extracted and pushed to translate.funkwhale.audio/tran.

We're aiming for a final release for the first week of October, meaning you have at least 7 days (but more likely 10) to help translate the new strings. Thank you for your help ❤️

And if you're willing to help translate Funkwhale but don't know where to start, have a look at contribute.funkwhale.audio/gui to get started!

It's time to build our roadmap for the 0.21 release. Discussion is open on our forum, so if you have a few minutes, please come on in let us know what you would like to see in the next release!
